Talking on the Phone

This week Jared and Allison were in Cleveland with the grandparents. Each night we would call them or they would call us to share the events of the day and to say good night.

It was truly amazing to hear them talk on the phone, not just talk but understand what we were saying to them. This was really the 1st time that we had the chance to be on the other end of the conversation. They spoke so clear and we understood everything that they were saying.

Yay for hearing aids and cochlear implants!!!!

this is awesome that your children can talk on the phone! it took years of practice for me, but just to hear loved ones far away on the phone is rad. [:

That's pretty amazing! I never dreamed that Lucas would be able to talk on the phone. Now, it's a probable reality.

I'll contact you closer to our weekend in Columbus! It would be so great if we could meet up!

I agree Woo Hoo! Isn't that amazing the Deaf and Hard of Hearing can talk on the phone! What a miracle!!! Have you guys chosen Oral/AVT as well? How much therpy does Jared and Allison get a week now and how much did they get when they were two and half years old. I'm curious Gavin is supposed to be going to preschool in Oct and it is 4 hours a day 4 days a week. This seems like alot for a 2 1/2 year old. But maybe this is a standard thing. What has worked for your family?
